Rungrawee Chalermsripinyorat joined Crisis Group in January 2008 as an analyst with the South East Asia Project. Previously, she worked as a journalist for five years during which she extensively covered the resurgence of the Muslim insurgency in Thailand’s deep south. She holds a Master’s Degree in South East Asian studies from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism from Thammasat University in Bangkok.
