Edward began as Crisis Group’s analyst for the Central African Republic in July 2009. Previously, from May 2008, he was the Research and Advocacy Officer for Crisis Group’s West Africa Project. He has a BA in Classics from Oxford University and an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. He speaks English and French.
