Grace is the HR Generalist in our global human resources team. In this capacity, she advises and supports managers in the recruitment, selection, and retention of staff, as well as the promotion of training, development and staff wellbeing. Grace is the contact person for all issues related to consultants and manages our volunteer program. Grace also supports the international payroll and benefits administration, as well as the overall day-to-day running of the HR unit.

Grace joined Crisis Group in 2005 in the capacity of Administrative Assistant in our Nairobi office. She soon became Office Manager and then grew internally to take on the role of HR Generalist in 2023. She previously worked as an Administrative Assistant with the African Energy Policy Research Network (AFREPREN), an NGO in Nairobi.
