Professional Background Daniel has focused on international peace and security, multilateral peace operations and regional organisations throughout his career. He most recently worked for the International Peace Institute (IPI) in New York, serving as a researcher at its Brian Urquhart Center for Peace Operations. Previously, Daniel worked at the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD) in Durban, South Africa, as a researcher in the office of its executive director. Daniel holds a Masters of International Affairs Degree from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).
