The U.S. Special Representative for Iran, Brian Hook, during meetings in Riyadh “reaffirmed the U.S.’s support of a negotiated end to the conflict” in Yemen and “condemned recent Huthi attacks on Saudi Arabia”. During the visit, Saudi Arabia exhibited “weapons, including drones and missiles, that Saudi authorities said were used in cross-border Houthi attacks on Saudi cities and that were supplied to the group by Tehran”.
