The Israeli military announced that “in response to the rockets launched from Lebanon at Israel… IDF tanks struck two observation posts belonging to Hizbollah”. This was followed by a further exchange of fire. Separately, the military reported that “a number of launches from Syria aimed for Israel were identified”, to which it “responded with artillery and mortar shells toward the origin of the launching in Syria”.
