Israeli defence officials announced that “the Syrian Armed Forces violated the 1974 ceasefire by strengthening a military post in the demilitarised zone between Syria and Israel. In response, an Israeli tank fired a warning shot towards the area”. This followed a similar incident on 18 November in Hader, located in the demilitarised zone between Syria and Israel.
