Iraqi security sources reported the downing of three drones bound for Balad airbase. The U.S.-led counter ISIS coalition maintained that “attacks on Iraqi installations are attacks on the Iraqi people. The Coalition maintains a minimal footprint on Iraqi locations to advise and assist but has no personnel at Balad”.
