Iraqi President Barham Salih warned that "the [ISIS] caliphate has been eliminated. But there are still sleeper cells and extremist groups along the Syrian border... the danger and risk of ISIS hasn't been eliminated". Salih also addressed rivalry between Iran and U.S. by saying that "we don't want Iraq to be part of these conflicts. This is not a very stable situation and putting an extra political burden on Iraq is not acceptable".
