Iraqi security officials confirmed that three rockets had been fired toward Baghdad’s Green Zone, resulting in some material damage. The spokesperson for the U.S.-led counter-ISIS coalition maintained that “each attack against the GoI [Government of Iraq], KRI and the Coalition undermines the authority of Iraqi institutions, the rule of law and Iraqi National sovereignty”.
