Iraqi security forces reported that three rockets had landed at Balad airbase; there were no injuries or material damage. Later in the day, the spokesperson for the U.S.-led counter-ISIS coalition cited Iraqi security forces when indicating that in a separate incident “Baghdad International Airport was targeted with three unmanned aerial vehicle[s], one of it [sic] was shot down”. A U.S. official stated that “there was no serious damage to the facilities or casualties attributed to the attacks… A small number of personnel were treated and released for smoke inhalation”.
