Syrian state media reported that Israeli helicopters “launched an aggression… with a number of missiles, from over the occupied Syrian Golan, on sites in the southern region”. Later in the day, a Syrian “military source” was quoted as saying that “successive explosions were heard at a military position in the city of Homs”, attributed “to human error during the transportation of some ammunition”.
