Syrian state media reported Israeli airstrikes against “air defence positions in Tartous”, killing two soldiers and injuring six others. The following day, Israel’s defence minister remarked: “Last night, we saw another proof that in Israel, the roar of the jets is greater than all the other noises on the ground... In the end, what counts is action, not words”.
