A U.S. diplomatic spokesperson indicated that the U.S. Special Envoy for Iran had held “excellent engagements” with several senior Israeli diplomatic and security officials, and added: “as we prepare for the resumption of those talks, the seventh round [of JCPOA talks] in Vienna, this is an opportunity to compare notes and to prepare for that seventh round... that close consultation and coordination [with Israel and Gulf partners] will continue as we get closer to 29 November and of course once the negotiations resume”.
