The war of words between Israel and Iran continued to heat up. In Tel Aviv, Prime Minister Netanyahu warned that "we hear the threats from Iran. IDF fighters and the security branches are ready for any development. We will fight anyone who tries to harm us". Netanyahu added that "we will not be deterred by the cost and we will exact a price from those who seek our lives". Meanwhile in Tehran, the IRGC deputy commander, Hossein Salami, declared that "hands are on the trigger and missiles are ready and will be launched at any moment that the enemy tries to carry out its sinister plots against our lands".
