According to an Israeli readout, the two officials discussed “expanding the circle of peace, the Iranian threat and other issues”. The following day, Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz discussed with his U.S. counterpart “the need to deal with Iran’s aggression and to ensure that an effective policy is being formulated that will safeguard regional stability”.
