Israel’s UN envoy wrote to the Security Council “on the ongoing Iranian ballistic missile program, which continues to threaten not only the stability of the Middle East but also poses possibly the greatest threat to peace and security in the world”. He urged the Council “to condemn the ongoing Iranian violations of UNSCR 2231, and to respond to the threat to international peace and security posed by the Iranian nuclear program, their ballistic missiles program and the regime’s active arms proliferation”.
