Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon reportedly indicated that “Iran will support Lebanon in all the domains [electricity, medical drugs, agriculture, industry…] upon its request… [and] is ready to accept the Lebanese Pound in the trade exchanges with Beirut”. He added that he had been “meeting with the Lebanese officials to coordinate the economic cooperation”.
