Responding to a journalist's query as to whether "Lebanon has gone to Iran's bosom and lost its ties with Gulf and Arab countries", Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil responded "I don't think it's in Lebanon's interests to be in an axis or with a state against a state. Lebanon goes after its interest with each stance it takes".
