Marking Quds Day, Hizbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, referring to upcoming Israeli military drills, cautioned that “any Israeli folly will be met by harsh response. In such case… [Israel] will not hear ‘we reserve right to respond in the appropriate time and place’. We will retaliate at once”. Nasrallah also claimed that “Iran informed normalising countries that any aggression against Iran from these countries will be responded to, and this message has made it to [Israel]… Iran could strike Israel directly, and its preludes are becoming greater by the day”.
