In a speech to the GCC Supreme Council, King Salman warned that "extremist and terrorist forces continue to threaten Gulf and Arab security. The Iranian regime continues to pursue its hostile policies in sponsoring these forces and interfering in the internal affairs of other countries". "This", he added, "requires all of us to preserve the gains of our countries, to work with our partners in order to maintain security and stability... and to insist on the need to achieve full and adequate guarantees on Iran's nuclear program and its ballistic missile development program".
