Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with his Saudi counterpart and discussed “regional issues, including concern over the Huthis’ latest attack on the Saudi city of Abha”. He further voiced “the U.S.’s strong commitment to its longstanding strategic partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to helping Saudi Arabia defend its people and territory”.
