Secretary Pompeo maintained that Huthi missiles fired at Saudi Arabia and the UAE "are coming from and the hardware and software that supports them are coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran... so what you have is a proxy war being engaged in by Iran against Saudi Arabia and the Emirates". Pompeo went on to assert that "our ask of Iran is just to simply become a normal country. Stop exporting terror, stop using proxy forces to create chaos around the world, and then we will welcome them back into the league of nations. And we're just - we're waiting on them to do that".
