The Israeli military reported downing “a surface-to-surface missile in the area of the Red Sea… An additional aerial threat was successfully intercepted”. A Huthi spokesperson took credit for what he said was “a large batch of ballistic and winged missiles, and a large number of drones” fired at Israel. He described the attack as “the third operation in support of our oppressed brothers in Palestine”, declaring that “they will continue to carry out more qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression [against Gaza] stops”.
