During a visit to Kuwait for a bilateral strategic dialogue, Secretary Pompeo posited that "the U.S. is a force for good in the region. We are working to help those [Gulf] countries find a set of common ground. We all have the same set of threats: the threats from al-Qaeda and from ISIS, the threat from the Islamic Republic of Iran. And we all are working diligently to find a path forward to that the rift between those countries can be resolved".
