The Treasury Department announced sanctions designations against three individuals and six entities involved in "procuring export-controlled, U.S. origin goods for sanctioned Iranian airlines". It also listed planes from four Iranian carriers "to warn those who grant landing rights and provide general services to these aircraft that they could be exposed to U.S. sanctions".
