The U.S. opined that the UN Secretary-General's biannual report regarding Security Council Resolution 2231's implementation "lays out the strongest evidence to date that the Iranian regime continues to send weapons across the Middle East and blatantly violate Security Council resolutions". The U.S. ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, went on to warn that "the U.S. will not allow Iran's violations and destructive actions to go unchecked".
