The U.S. removed several Iran-related designations from the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list; a Treasury spokesperson indicated that the actions “do not reflect any change in U.S. government sanctions policy toward Iran. They have nothing to do with JCPOA negotiation efforts. The U.S. will continue to counter Iran’s destabilising activities, including through implementation of our sanctions”.
