A White House spokesperson maintained that “we’re continuing to engage with Iran deal partners, including Russia, on Iran nuclear negotiations. We believe Russia shares a common interest in ensuring Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon… There’s nothing that should be required of or will be offered from the U.S. as it relates to Russia sanctions — that is related to their invasion of Ukraine”.
