Crisis Group Role

Ivy joined the International Crisis Group in March 2022 as Fellow for China. She monitors and conducts research on China’s foreign policy and its role in conflict prevention and resolution in the region.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Crisis Group, Ivy worked as a policy aide at the ministry of defence in Malaysia. She also had vast experience working in policy advisory and governmental affairs roles with think-tanks and international organisations, and spent a year as a Visiting Scholar in Taiwan. Ivy graduated with a Masters in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
