Virtual (Livestream on YouTube)

28 January 2022

10:00-11:00 CET (Brussels)

Crisis Group invites you to join the launch of the EU Watch List 2022, our yearly publication identifying ten countries and regions at risk of conflict or escalation of violence, where a stronger engagement and early action driven or supported by the EU and its member states could help generate stronger prospects for peace and stability.

The Watch List 2022 includes a President’s Take on Europe and the Crisis in Ukraine, followed by detailed conflict analysis and EU-targeted recommendations on the following ten cases:

Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Ethiopia, Israel/Palestine, Kashmir, Lebanon, Sudan, Tunisia, and Venezuela.

The opening session will feature Crisis Group's President & CEO Comfort Ero, Crisis Group’s Program Director for Europe and Central Asia Olga Oliker, and the Chief of Brussels Bureau at the New York Times, Matina Stevis-Gridneff, and will focus on global conflict trends. The session will be streamed live on Crisis Group’s Youtube channel.
