Council on Foreign Relations, New York
19 October 2017
International Crisis Group, Foreign Affairs and the Arabia Foundation are partnering to host a conference to examine how the longstanding confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia may evolve under the Trump administration.
Government officials, policy experts, NGO representatives, media figures and corporate leaders will discuss the challenges of promoting a stable regional order. Panels will focus on proxy wars in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen; the impact of the current crisis within the Gulf Cooperation Council on the geopolitics of oil and gas; and the future of American foreign policy in the Middle East more broadly.
