Crisis Group Role

As Crisis Group's Giustra Fellow for Central Africa, Amory supports the organisation's mission in Central Africa (the Central African Republic, Cameroon and Chad) by performing desk and field-based research, helping formulate policy recommendations, and assisting Crisis Group’s advocacy activities related to conflict prevention and mitigation in Central Africa.

Professional Background

Amory has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the Free University of Brussels (ULB). He holds a Master's Degree in Conflict, Rights and Justice from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), where he focused on Conflict Transformation, Human Rights and Transitional Justice. Prior to joining Crisis Group's Giustra Fellowship program, Amory was an intern with the organisation, supporting research, analysis and advocacy on the Central African Republic. He also has a professional background in European Union-Africa advocacy, migration and media.
