Our Trustees on Crisis Group and Resolving the Venezuela Crisis

We asked four International Crisis Group Trustees to step aside from our April 2019 Paris Board Meeting and tell us what was most urgent about resolving the Venezuela crisis and how Crisis Group is helping. This is what they had to say.

Susana Malcorra

Susana Malcorra, former Foreign Minister of Argentina, former Chef de Cabinet of the UN Secretary-General and Crisis Group Board Member describes how the crisis in Venezuela has divided the region and has become increasingly ideological. She urges the region to bridge the divide, so that it can help the Venezuelans to bridge their own divide.
