As Research Analyst, Danny undertakes drafting, editing and research for Crisis Group’s global conflict tracker CrisisWatch. He also contributes to conflict horizon scanning activities and helps oversee global research queries on deadly conflicts and crises.

Danny joined Crisis Group in September 2016 as a member of the Communications & Outreach team in Brussels. As Communications Officer, he assisted the drafting, editing and publishing of a range of Crisis Group outputs as well as aiding the organisation’s outreach efforts.

Previously, Danny served as the department’s Media Associate, tasked with expanding Crisis Group’s relationships with news and media outlets. Prior to that, he also gained research experience at non-governmental organisations in the UK.

Danny holds an MA in International Studies & Diplomacy from SOAS, University of London, as well as a First Class Honours BA in International History & Politics from the University of Leeds (UK).
