Bénédicte Benoit joined Crisis Group in October 2012. As Director of Government & Multilateral Relations, she manages the relationships with Crisis Group’s government and multilateral donors.

Professional Background

Previously, Bénédicte worked for the Inter-Agency Network on Education in Emergencies (INEE) where she conducted research aimed at developing the evidence base for understanding the role of education in conflict and fragility, and planned advocacy activities for policy change. Prior to the INEE, she worked for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) where she provided technical guidance to child protection programs and leadership for the development of strategic grant partnerships. 

She holds a MA in Political Science and International Relations from Université Libre de Bruxelles. Bénédicte has worked in New York and Paris and speaks fluent English and French.
