Claire Boccon-Gibod Data Visualisation and Publications Officer Brussels Crisis Group Role Claire joined Crisis Group in December 2019. She is responsible for designing qualitative and quantitative data visualisations including maps, graphics and infographics for digital and print outputs. She also produces branded visual content for social media and online platforms and supports the formatting, publication and dissemination of internal and advocacy products. Professional Background Prior to joining Crisis Group, Claire worked on data visualisation, design and communications on the Mediterranean refugee situation, for UNHCR in Geneva and for a non-governmental organisation in Greece. She holds an undergraduate degree in Politics with English literature from the University of Newcastle (UK) and a joint MA in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA) from the University of Uppsala (Sweden) and Groningen University (Netherlands). Specialising in conflict analysis and disaster risk reduction, she also has training in GIS mapping from Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia).
