Crisis Group Role

As a Fellow, Katrina performs field-based research on conflict in the Philippines, working closely with the Senior Analyst for the Philippines and the Program’s leadership. She helps formulate policy recommendations and assists in Crisis Group’s advocacy activities related to conflict prevention and mitigation in the country. 

Professional Background

Katrina has eight years of professional experience in conflict analysis, research and project development. She has worked in a variety of roles related to the Mindanao peace process, including for The Asia Foundation, the Third Party Monitoring Team, and the Development Academy of the Philippines. She holds a political science degree from the University of the Philippines and is currently completing a degree in law at the UP College of Law.
