She conducts research and produces reports and written analyses on the Bangsamoro peace process and radicalism in Southern Philippines. She also monitors the geopolitical, security, governance and social issues in Indonesia, Malaysia and Cambodia. With eight years of professional experience in the Philippine government, Concon provided research and policy formulation support on national security and defense matters. From 2012 to 2015, she worked with the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue where she provided conflict analysis and confidential mediation support to the Philippine Government (GPH) - Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) peace negotiations, managed projects and partnerships on conflict resolution and conducted research and analysis on topics such as ceasefire and interim security mechanisms, security sector reform, transitional justice and reconciliation arrangements and inter-governmental relations. Prior to joining Crisis Group in April 2017, she worked as an independent consultant under the GPH-MILF peace process and the Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI).
