Crisis Group Role

Renard joined Crisis Group in 2018 and is jointly a visiting fellow at Princeton University. As Economics of Conflict Fellow, he works to integrate quantitative analysis and the theoretical foundations from political science and economics into Crisis Group's work, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Professional Background

Renard has a Ph.D. in Politics from New York University, and will start as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Emory University in July 2019.
