He provides research support on the intersection of gender and armed conflict and helps support Crisis Group's gender mainstreaming strategy. He also contributes to the monthly CrisisWatch conflict tracker. Professional Background Following completion of his MSc in Middle East Politics from School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, William worked for a charity organising conflict resolution workshops. Before his Masters', William worked in the industry of sports events, while he also holds an undergraduate degree in History from the University of Sheffield.
