As Research Analyst, Miranda contributes to the drafting, editing and research for Crisis Group's conflict tracker CrisisWatch, as well as subsequent horizon scanning activities. She also helps produce the organisation's monthly CrisisWatch digests.

Miranda initially joined Crisis Group as part of the Communications and Outreach team in March 2018. As Online Communications Associate for over two years, she managed the social media platforms and helped develop the organisation's podcasts.

Miranda left Crisis Group in August 2020 to pursue an Advanced Masters in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies before returning to the organisation in her new capacity in the Research team.
