Ulrich also oversees the development of a multidisciplinary climate security early warning system that blends climate and social sciences with field research to understand, anticipate and prevent climate security risks. Professional Background During his previous roles as Senior Analyst and Postdoctoral Fellow with Princeton University’s Empirical Studies of Conflict Project, Ulrich established Crisis Group’s quantitative work examining the pathways between climate change and deadly conflict. He is a Visiting Fellow at Princeton University and was previously based at the London School of Economics. Ulrich received a PhD in Economics from the University of Lausanne and a Master’s degree in Economic Policy from University College London.
