Andrew joined Crisis Group in June 2022. As Researcher for Climate, Environment and Conflict, he is responsible for conducting research on climate financing and adaptation in fragile states, in addition to supporting the workstream's research on the relationship between climate change and conflict.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Crisis Group, Andrew was a Fulbright Scholar in Kosovo where he researched how international institutions shaped democratisation in the Balkans. Before that, he was a consultant at Crisis Group specialising in climate and security issues. He has also worked for the U.S. Senate and various political campaigns. Andrew graduated Phi Beta Kappa in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
