Professional Background Previously, Berkay worked for the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV) covering judicial and security sector reform issues, and for a joint EU-Turkish Justice Ministry Twinning project aimed at improving the efficiency of Turkish court proceedings.
