As Crisis Group’s Senior Advocacy and Communications Officer for Asia, Margarite works on strategies to increase the program’s impact through communications and outreach to governments, media, civil society, and international and regional organisations. She is the focal point for local and Asia-based journalists.

Previously, Margarite covered conflict and its humanitarian impact as a journalist, as well as advocacy and media from within humanitarian organisations in Asia and Africa. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Queensland and a Master's degree in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
