She develops communications and advocacy strategies and ensures that ICG’s conflict prevention and resolution publications and recommendations reach a focused audience, including policymakers, authorities and the media, specifically in Arabic speaking communities. Professional Background Christina has dedicated her career in communications to social and humanitarian causes. She held the position of Field Communications Manager for Syria and later for Ukraine at Doctors Without Borders. Prior to that, she worked in communications roles that focused on combatting violent extremism, managing religious diversity, and advancing conflict-sensitive reporting. She is also a trainer and coordinator for several media programs focusing on media literacy to combat hate speech and misinformation. Christina holds a master's degree in Information and Communication Sciences from the Lebanese University in Beirut.
