During a visit to NATO headquarters, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken underscored the U.S. and NATO allies’ unity “to bring a responsible end to the conflict [in Afghanistan], to remove our troops from harm’s way and to ensure that Afghanistan can never again become a haven for terrorists that would threaten the U.S. or any of our allies”.
