Addressing U.S. moves to increase its military assets in the Persian Gulf, Foreign Minister Javad Zarif warned that "having all these military assets in a small waterway is, in and of itself, prone to accident, particularly when you have people who are interested in accidents". "Extreme prudence is required", Zarif added, "and we believe that the U.S. is playing a very, very dangerous game".
