Secretary of State Michael Pompeo discussed “Iraq’s economic crisis as well as the upcoming U.S.-Iraq Strategic Dialogue” with Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi. According to a U.S. readout, “Pompeo urged Prime Minister al-Kadhimi to pursue real reforms as he works with international institutions to provide financial assistance to Iraq”.
